OIXIO Sailing Team is an Estonian amateur offshore sailing team. The Oixio sailing team, a sailing crew that navigates through the waves and wind, comprises not one but two distinct teams who share a common goal: to venture across the deep blue and to win Corinthian ORC Worlds off course.
Different teams with common goal
Leading the way is Kira Team, a group of experienced Corinthian sailors who, with their passion and years of experience, have become a guiding light for newcomers to the sport. They work tirelessly to ensure that their love for sailing is evident in all that they do, and take pride in their vessel, Kira, the Corby 33 sailboat. Though they are not significantly more experienced than their teammate counterparts, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.
Supporting them is Roxanna Team, who, while not as experienced as their fellow teammates, are eager to learn and contribute what they can. They sail the X-79, a backup vessel that comes in handy when some of Kira team members are unable to participate. Together, both teams form a cohesive unit that’s committed to sailing with utmost passion and excellence.
